Almost all pregnancies are normal and undergo normal processes. However, there could be some circumstances that make your doctor thinks it is risky to you and baby which need to be handle. This is because you might have a health problem or having twin pregnancy. Sometimes symptom expands and gives a sign to doctor that you need some specific cares.

Anaemia
Most women underwent a slight anaemia before they pregnant and this is usually caused by lack of iron nutrient. This situation must be overcome to suit the pregnancy needs and the bleeding during giving birth soon.

Treatment
Prevent anaemia by taking various food diets, take foods that are rich with irons. If blood test shows you experience anaemia, your doctor will give will additional iron to take. Take tablet after lunch with lots of water drinks because it can irritate the stomach and cause constipating, diarrhea or vomiting. Rich iron foods such as spinach, liver and red meat can overcome this problem.

Diabetes
Diabetes must be monitored carefully during your pregnancy and the sugar level in blood must often be checked.

Treatment
You must control in the blood sugar level, doctor can adapt insulin recruitment for you on your pregnancy. You need special attention on diet. You should also often visit the antenatal clinic. Some women discover that this disease arise at early pregnancy. It usually disappears after giving birth.

Weak Womb (Incompetent Cervix)
In ordinary pregnancy, cervix or womb’s neck is still shuts until the baby is born. But if miscarriages are often to happen after three-month of pregnancy, this may be due by the weak womb neck opened and let the baby out.

Treatment
Doctor might suggest a minor operation to re-close the cervix at early of pregnancy. This stitch will be re-open at the end of pregnancy, or when almost giving birth.

Pre-eclampsia
This is one of the common problems at the end pregnancy. The symptoms are when blood pressure increases to more 140/90, sudden body weight increase, swollen ankles, feet and hands, and presents of protein in urine. If have one of these symptoms, the doctor will be watching you more carefully. If blood pressure increase is not treated, it could cause danger to the placenta.

Treatment
Your doctor will advise you to rest. To reduce blood pressure, you can take medicine or reduce salt content in foods. If the condition is serious and unchanged, you will be hospitalized although you are feeling well enough. You may have to give birth by induction (induce).

Negative Rhesus Factor
Your blood shall be tested during first visit to the clinic to determine whether you have Rhesus factor positive or negative. About 15 percent of the people experience rhesus negative and if you are one of these people, you will experience some problems during gestation period if you have rhesus positive baby. This means your blood group is not same. However this will not cause danger to your first baby. Usually you will face problem on further pregnancy.

Treatment
If your first baby rhesus positive while you are rhesus negative, you would be given protection vaccine which is known as anti-D once after birth. This will prevent problem when you pregnant another baby soon. This vaccination may be given during pregnancy in some hospital.

Miscarriage
Miscarriage is the pregnancy end and this could happen in each five pregnancies. Most miscarry happens in week 12, often take place before the woman knows that she is pregnant, usually because the baby is not developed normally. Bleeding from vagina is an early indication.

Miscarriage treatment
If bleeding is little, pregnancy can be saved. Your doctor will propose you to have plenty of rest; bleeding might stop and if you rest several days, pregnancy will take place as usual. No abnormality risk to the baby. You will be given pregnancy or ultra-sound test to make sure the baby is safe.

Natural miscarriage
If bleeding happen with a lot and you’re in pain, this may mean that the baby has died. You must be hospitalized to clean the womb. Because you lost the baby at early pregnancy, you may feel depressed. You also may feel concerned either you can re-conceive a healthy baby, feeling guilt and self-reproach.

Vagina Bleeding
If you experience bleeding from vagina at any gestation period, contact the doctor and lay back immediately on bed. If this takes place before the 28th week, this may be a miscarriage sign. After this period, it means that the placenta is bleeding. This could happen if the placenta starts to move from the uterus wall or if the placenta is too low within the uterus and being shut or half shut the cervix.

Treatment
Placenta is the baby life line. So if doctor thinks you have risk you will be hospitalized, where placenta position may be inspected. You must remains within the hospital until giving birth. If you experience blood loss, you must undergo blood transfusion and baby may be delivered earlier through induction or cesarean surgery. If bleeding is little and happened few weeks before birth, doctor may decides you to give birth naturally but under intensive care.

Twin
Pregnancy and delivering process will experience normal development although you will experience two-stage of delivery. You may undergo complication like anaemia, preeclampsia or inverse baby position. You also could possibly suffer ordinary pregnancy problems with worse, especially during the last few months.

Treatment
Fixed visits to the antenatal clinic must be often if you have twin pregnancy, so that any complication can be identified immediately. Pregnancy of more than one baby burden your body more than normal, so make sure your body condition is always in healthy condition especially during the last few weeks. To avoid problems to your digestion, eat fresh food and smaller in number.
