Respect contributes to a child’s emotional development. It’s one of the many core strengths that provide a strong foundation for future health, happiness, and productivity. The development of respect is a lifelong process, but its roots are in early childhood.
It is important to inculcate respect in children as children will belong to many groups, meet many kinds of people, and will need to be able to listen, negotiate, compromise, and cooperate.

Most of us know that sleepless nights can unhinge your emotions. Now scientists have a better idea of why this happens. They have shown that lack of sleep strongly activates the brain’s emotional centers and weakens the brain circuits that keep your emotions under control.
Scientists know that lack of sleep can interfere with your health in many ways. It can disrupt your learning and memory and your ability to fight disease. But they have understood much less about how sleep and emotions are connected in the brain.

Depression is caused by imbalance of brain chemicals (namely serotonin and norepinephrine) which function to control emotion.
Every individual reacts differently to depression treatments. Some will see effectiveness of treatment after a few weeks while other may experience side effects.
While treatment is important, there are several things that family members or friends should remember not to do:

A research done in Sweden has shown that active social activities can protect a person from dementia.
This is because social activities are claimed can reduce stress experienced, and then reduces up to half of the risk of dementia for men or women.
The social activity meant is to spend time chatting or having fun with family and friends. It does not include crime activities or taking alcohols or drugs.
