Drug Allergy, Allergic to Medications – Symptoms and Treatment

Allergic to medications is caused by hypersensitive immune system. Body becomes sensitive when exposed first time to drug. Second time exposure or further will trigger immune reaction. Allergic reaction may be divided from side-effect or light irritation (skin rashes, irritation, and nausea) to the effect that can bring to the deaths such as anaphylactic shock.

Penicillin and related antibiotic are the ordinary cause of this allergy case. The best way to avoid this allergy is to avoid from using those medications.

Food allergy is a condition where symptoms occur because of immune system’s reactions which are induced by certain type of foods. Allergic to food can be identified by the situations as:

Intolerants to food.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

Food poisoning.

When allergy had happens, you must avoid those foods that cause the allergy to prevent it from becoming more severe.

Allergic rhinitis is occurrence symptoms after being exposed to seasonal pollen of plants in air. Allergic rhinitis or hay fever involves allergic reaction to allergens such as pollens, fungi, mould, fur and dust. Pollen which is carried by winds is small and more often to cause hay fever. Very hot, dry and windy weather add pollen concentration in the air.
